VIDFAR'S
PERSONAL
PORTFOLIO

2020 Jan
Covid Started and I left my job as Guest Experience Manager @ Walt Disney World, FL.

2020 Mar
I began my software journey and started studying HTML, CSS and Javascript, even getting to help some friends out with their websites.

2020 July
I moved to Romania to work with a friend and learn from his team at their incubator and focus more on React, Node & R3F/ThreeJS.

2021 Jan
I got my first job as a Fullstack Developer at a startup in Gothenburg where I learnt to work in a small team and build and manage a product from scratch.

2021 July
I was thrown in the deep end and took on the role of lead developer at the startup and learnt a lot about leadership, product ownership and how to communicate with multiple parties.

2023 May
I have succesfully completed products from start to finish for smaller companies, medium sized companies and governmental agencies. Now I am in search of a new challenge and to join a team where I can grow and learn from others with more experience.
Project Snapshots
What will follow is a selection of projects and prototypes I have been writing over the past two years.
Bon Voyage
An exclusive Halloween event which took place in a 400 year old Italian Villa.
BPAB
A small company located on the Swedish West Coast who specializes in manufacturing Conductive Composites to save lives from slippery surfaces.
Arcadian Airplane
A reproduction of the famous atmos.leeroy.ca website, I reverse engineered the website from scratch using React Three Fiber as a personal exercise and in case of a client would need something of a similar nature in the future.
Visit Guinea
A project brought to us by the Guinean government to promote tourism in the country.
For each of these I've been responsible for the front-end development as well as the backend development with some design input.
My main tools have been: NextJS, R3F/ThreeJS, NodeJS, TailwindCSS, framer motion, GSAP, Figma & MongoDB.
I also have some experience with React Native, Express, Firebase/Firestore, Postgresql, Prisma, GraphQL & spline.
Full disclosure, around 3 months of my life trying to learn Solidity for a project have also disappeared.
So
Who
Am I?
Dedicated Learner
I did not study computer science in college, and I am not a designer but I am a very dedicated learner. I am a self-taught developer who fell in love with web dev, is always looking to learn new things to improve my skills and I am well aware of my limitations.
Work well in Teams and by Myself
Half of our projects I've worked on have been in teams, and the other half I've worked on by myself. I enjoy both, and I am comfortable in both situations.
Creative Problem Solver
I enjoy solving problems, and I enjoy solving them creatively. If I wasn't I would not have been able to get to where I am today. (Which admittedly is not very far but I'm proud of my last three years)
Attentive to Various Perspectives
Since I've been managing projects outside of tech as well as inside, ' in multiple countries and contexts, I like to think I have gained some valuable insights on communicating with a host of different parties to find various solutions.
A Few More Projects
Her Body Her Choice
A hoodie that was sold to raise money for the organization "The Center for Human Rights", a project focused on raising awareness for all women fighting in Iran.
Arcadian Creator
A Swedish Web Agency that I worked with to create a website for a client of theirs. I was responsible for the front-end development of the website.
Guinée Vision
A simple website for a Guinean news outlet collecting opinions for a marketing campaign. The website has since been live streaming word inputs on screens from all across the country.
Product Configurator
A small and highly reusable component I've utilised on a few occasions to allow users to configure a product in 3D.
KEEP SCROLLING
YOU'RE ALMOST THERE
Thank you for going all the way,
I hope we can write the next act together!
